THE FOUNDER
Meet Asmita Pokhrel
APHANA was founded in 2025 by Asmita Pokhrel, a Nepali fashion designer and stylist with a BA in Fashion & Retailing. After beginning her fashion career in Kathmandu, she moved to Helsinki and created APHANA from her love of jewellery, styling and the way one thoughtful detail can transform an outfit.
From her Helsinki studio, Asmita leads APHANA’s creative direction, styling and imagery, and prepares every order. Her fashion background shapes how APHANA approaches proportion, layering and the thoughtful details that make jewellery easy to wear. Original APHANA designs are planned for future collections.

APHANA began in Helsinki with a simple belief: beautiful gold-toned jewellery should fit into real life, rather than waiting in a jewellery box for a special occasion.
We focus on versatile forms that can be worn alone, layered or mixed with pieces you already own—jewellery designed to return to again and again.
THE MATERIALS
Everyday strength, 18K gold-toned finish
Each piece uses a strong, corrosion-resistant Durable Stainless Steel base with an 18K PVD gold-plated finish. The jewellery is water and sweat resistant, tarnish-resistant, hypoallergenic and nickel-free.
APHANA is made for everyday wear, but not for swimming, continuous showering or direct perfume exposure. Thoughtful care helps the finish stay beautiful for longer.
THE APHANA WEAR PROMISE
45 days of confidence
If your jewellery shows unusual colour fading or tarnishing within 45 days of delivery during normal everyday wear, contact us with your order number and clear photos. Once reviewed, eligible claims will receive a replacement or store credit.
The promise does not cover loss, accidental damage, scratches, misuse or normal signs of wear. It is provided in addition to your statutory consumer rights.
